1.What is an eBook?
An electronic book (variously, e-book, eBook, digital EBook, or even e-edition) is a book-length publication in digital form, consisting of text, images, or both, and produced on, published through, and readable on computers or other electronic devices. Sometimes the equivalent of a conventional printed book, e-Books can also be born digital. The Oxford Dictionary of English defines the e-book as “an electronic version of a printed book,” but e-Books can and do exist without any printed equivalent. E-books are usually read on dedicated e-book readers or general purpose computer tablets. Personal computers and many mobile phones (most smart phones) can also be used to read e-books. 2. Do I need any special software to read an eBook?
Most eBooks can be read using the default software of your computer and smart phones. For eBook in PDF format, you will need Acrobat Reader which can be obtained free from www.adobe.com Click Here . eBooks in Word format will require Microsoft Word. Many eBooks come in exe format which can be read on any PC and most smart phones. You will also need extracting software such as 7zip ( free download from www.7zip.com Click Here ) to unpack your purchase from the ZIP folder that it will arrive in.
